booked a room with marvellous views of the yellow sea. the takeout breakfast was marvellous, included amazing dishes. location: the hotel was really close to supermarket and shops and the nearby mall and may 4th square. the services were excellent, offered us fast free wi-fi.

Superb executive room, friendly building manager, excellent bed, discreet and efficient housekeeping staff, enormous choice of food for breakfast.

our stay at shangri-la exceeded expectations. from the moment we checked in, the friendly staff made us feel special. the breakfast buffet, led by the amazing tina, was top-notch and we were treated like the only guests they cared about.

The staff and comfort of this hotel is just about second to none.

Hotel was very quiet and this might have to do with rates still being quite high even in these recession times.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. Everyone is very friendly and it is obvious that they just want to please. Is you stay on the upper floors there is a special area for guests to enjoy free happy hour and breakfast. This would have to be the best hotel I have stayed in in China.

The location of the hotel was great, as it was very close to the shopping center and easily accessible. I also enjoyed the convenience of having my favorite breakfast and cocktail options readily available. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially the Front Desk Manager who provided exceptional service. The room and bathroom were comfortable and well-maintained, and the breakfast had a variety of delicious options. Additionally, the hotel had great facilities, including a swimming pool and fitness room.

The facility for the executive rooms is very modern and comfortable. The service staff is knowledgable and polite.

The front desk staff is not very pleasant. The one we met was a bit misleading. The old and the new facility (the two wings) were not well integrated and website does not provide info on the room and location (old or new wing)--so we booked two rooms that are located in the different buildings!

Helpful staff

Administration process was weak. The room price quoted was overlooked at check out and I was overcharged. I had to request an electronic version of the quoted rate sheet after returning home. The issue remains uncorrected (1 week later).

Exceptional service from the staff. We were upgraded to a higher room category and given access to the executive lounge. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. highly recommended.

Its rooms are a nice size and well-equipped, had a LUXURIOUS stay on my business trip.

The hotel was very clean and had excellent facilities. The location in the center of Qingdao's ShiBei district was convenient, as it was very close to a subway station and a big shopping mall. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
